Cairns is the main destination for vacations focused on the Great Barrier Reef. Located along Australia’s northeastern coast and welcoming visitors from all over the world, the city has so many guests from Japan considering Cairns a primary getaway that many stores in town have Japanese words beside the English on their signs. Trip planners can research and book Cairns accommodation at great prices while they select what they will explore of the natural surroundings and attractions in the region such as these popular attractions:

Great Barrier Reef
Tours of the reef are available by plane, helicopter, and boat. Many people book scuba diving excursions. Local guides can tell much of the story and wonders of the Reef as well as provide a safe experience for young and old. Highly recommended and reliable companies are prevalent.

Karunda Scenic Railway
With a Skyrail for spectacular views of mountains, forest, waterfall, and countryside, people can sit back to enjoy the ride. The tour stops off at places to walk and photograph nature, and is well worth the price.

Lagoon and Promenade
A park for relaxation, exercise, recreation, water sports, picnics and barbecues. The tropical weather provides many Cairns days in the sun, and this park area is a great place to take advantage of the sun’s rays.

Sports
Cairns is the home of Joe Blake the Snake, mascot of one of the country’s leading basketball teams. Cazely’s Stadium hosts many cricket games, and rugby is also a popular sport in Cairns. Then, the area has some lovely golf courses.

Walking Tracks
All around the green-forested mountains not far from Cairns, people can walk the trails. In local sport and book stores, visitors can find maps of the nearby tracks.

Wildlife Dome
Whatever the weather, rainy or sunny, people can enjoy this adventure. Parrots, lorikeets and other colorful birds fly about freely in the indoor rain forest. Guests can feed and pet koalas, wallabies and other native animals at the Reef Hotel Casino where the huge glass dome is twenty meters high.

Las Vegas, Nevada is synonymous with casinos, gambling and betting but many people don’t stop and think that there are plenty of other things to do in Las Vegas. You don’t have to turn down an exciting trip to the city because you aren’t a gambler. You are sure to have a good time whether you feed quarters to a slot machine or not! Here are the top five things to do in Las Vegas that don’t involve gambling:

Vegas Indoor Skydiving

A vertical wind tunnel allows visitors the thrill of skydiving without having to jump out of a perfectly good airplane. With winds of up to 120 mph, you will literally fly as your body is lifted and your spirits soar.

Dig This

If you’ve ever dreamed of playing in a giant sandbox with life size toys, this attraction is for you. Caterpillar bulldozers let you excavate, push and climb the dirt like the big boys (girls can play, too!).

Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area

Whether you decide to ride on horseback, hike or take a scenic drive, the Red Rock Canyon’s stunning vistas will leave you awestruck. If you’re looking for a completely different Las Vegas, this is it. Located only about 20 miles outside of Las Vegas it’s well worth the drive.

Cirque de Soleil

No matter which show Cirque de Soleil is performing it is sure to be well worth the visit. Beautiful sets and amazing performers always make Cirque a memorable experience.

Las Vegas Premium Outlets

Why not spend a day shopping at the outlet mall? Full of both high-end and lower priced shops, as well as stalls; the outlet mall is every bargain shoppers dream. After a morning or afternoon of shopping, stop by one of the many eateries and have a bite of lunch or even dinner.

When many people go on vacation they have to go through all the hassle of securing transportation to their destinations, reserving a hotel, unpacking, perhaps going to another destination, repacking and unpacking again, finding dining options three times a day, locating attractions and navigating to them – the stress of being on vacation can be enormous! But on a cruise you simply book your tickets, find your way to the ship, kick off your shoes and let the relaxing begin. And with cruises from Boston, California, and everywhere in between leaving constantly, it’s not hard to find one close to you.

There’s no need to hunt the yellow pages for good restaurants and then argue with your family about what they want to eat. The food aboard the ship comes in many styles to suit everyone’s tastes and, best of all, you walk to these eateries! If you want to, you can eat appetizers at one place, dinner at another, and then walk to another spot for dessert.

Another perk about cruises: you only have to unpack one time. There’s no need to return home hoping you remembered to re-pack everything for the third time. Once you are aboard the ship, you unpack once and enjoy the ride. You get all the benefits of visiting several locations during your holiday without the headache of moving your bags around.

While aboard the ship, you won’t miss out on any entertainment options you might have enjoyed ashore. Many ships have nightclubs, evening shows and casinos. But the advantage on the ship is that you don’t have to worry with locating your car or finding your way home afterwards. You can simply walk back to your cabin and fall off to sleep.

If you’re the kind of person who appreciates pampering and toning your body, many ships also offer fitness classes and spa services. You can find daily classes to keep fit while aboard and an array of spa services to treat your body well.

The world is viewed and enjoyed differently while aboard a cruise ship. Your mind is free to enjoy the sights and splendor of your destinations instead of being mired in logistics.

In fact what is seen in Nara is the oldest part, as a kind of group of temples and parks around.

Todaiji Temple and the lovely garden of Ishvi, Kofukuji Temple (known as the Fujiwara clan temple), Temple Kasuga (with 1800 stone lanterns hanging from the walls) and the Palace Heijoson some of the temples in Nara visit .

RECOMMENDATIONS

In the Deer Park you can see these animals in the wild.
Since the distances between the temples are important and to take advantage of the full time I would recommend hiring a full day excursion to Nara.

CURIOSITIES

Next to the Buddha of Todaiji Temple is a column with a hole. Legend has it that he who passes through that hole will be great blessings in your next life. Children have no problems, but more of a tourist has been left stranded and with out problems.

Also known as the “windy city” (the city of wind), is the third U.S. city in population after New York and Los Angeles. In my opinion is one of the most beautiful cities in the country and has a great advantage over many other cities and is very accessible and has great mobility thanks to the means of transport. It is an important business center and thus has many entertainment venues, restaurants and shopping.

The mixture of styles of the facades of their buildings (Baroque, Art Deco, Neo-Gothic …) makes this a city with a great personality. A visit of the new Millennium Park, the best views of Chicago from Grant Park on Lake Michigan and Buckingham Fountain, Sears Tower and Navy Pier (restaurants, attractions, shopping ..) and the Field Museum ( with the impressive skeleton of a Tyrannosaurus Rex size!)

RECOMMENDATIONS

Paying 69 usd for the Chicago CityPass have the right to visit the main attractions of the city at a cheaper cost than if you were paying individually.

CURIOSITIES

The Great Fire of 1871 devastated much of the city of Chicago. The buildings at that time were made of wood and the fire spread very easily. A desire to rebuild the city attracted architects and builders across the country, putting into practice new styles and construction techniques (such as metal frames of skyscrapers). Thus was born the famous “Chicago School.”

It is certainly one of the most authentic to discover. In the shadow of Kenya, Tanzania or Namibia, Ethiopia has nothing to envy but in no way resembles. Break all the preconceived ideas you may have. In Ethiopia we have to go without taboos, with a very open mind, and with much patience.

There are two routes to follow to see Ethiopia, North route if you are more interested in history and culture in cities such as Gondar, Axum and Lalibela, and the southern route where emphasis is more on the tribes and the human factor. Its capital Addis Ababa is the starting point of the routes, there is little to be desired except the Merkato (though beware of robbery!).

To the north the landscape is dry and mountainous at its border with Sudan. The south is generally flown in 4×4 and green landscape with lakes leaves you stone. When you see the lake Langano, the Koka or think Chamo images and cracked dry earth you saw on television.

But the best are coming face to face with the tribes. The Tsemay and Arbaminch Erbore in the Karo Mago National Park, the Mursi in Jinka or Turmi Hamer … impressive.
